Bad stuff does happen sometimes. Always remember that, but remember that you have to move on, somehow. You just pick up your head and stare at something beautiful like the sky, or the ocean, and you move the hell on.

Life is like an hourglass. Sooner or later everything hits the bottom. You just gotta be patient and wait for someone to turn it around.

I never understood the whole "opposites attract" phrase. If two people are different and have different interests, why would they get along so well? But then I thought about it. "I love you for everything I'm not." So, basically, two opposite people come together to fill in the missing parts of themselves.

At some point you will realize that you have done too much for someone, that the only next possible step to do is to stop. Leave them alone. Walk away. It's not like you're giving up, and it's not like you shouldn't try. It's just that you have to draw the line of determination from desperation. What is truly yours will eventually be yours, and what is not, no matter how hard you try, will never be.

We go through life not knowing what to expect, who to trust, who to love, or how it will turn out, but we have to remember that we hold the key to the future. Stop waiting for something to happen, make a change by taking a chance.

And honestly. I’m not sure if I should keep holding on or let go. It’s stupid to hold to on to something that just keeps hurting you, but it’s also stupid to let go of everything you ever wanted.

Sometimes you've got to run away to see who will run after you. Sometimes you've got to talk quieter to see who's really listening. Sometimes you've got to step up to fight only to see who's standing by your side. Sometimes you've got to make a wrong decision only to see who's there to help you fix it. Sometimes you've got to let go of the one you love just to see if they love you enough to come back to you.

An "ex" is called an "ex" because it’s an example of what you shouldn’t have again in the future.

When you're young everything feels like the end of the world. But it's not; it's just the beginning. You might have to meet a few more jerks, but one day you're gonna meet a boy who treats you the way you deserve to be treated.

It's crazy, right? To love someone whose hurt you?

Take every chance you get. Because honestly no matter where you end up, or who you end up with, it always ends up the way it should be. Your mistakes are what makes you the person you are today. You learn and grow with each choice. Make everything you do worth it. Live your life as if there won’t be any tomorrow. Say how you feel, always be you, and be okay with it.

When there's something you really want, fight for it, don't give up no matter how hopeless it seems. And when you've lost hope, ask yourself if 10 years from now you're going to wish you had given it just one more shot.

You can lose your boyfriend, you can lose your best friend. You can fail a class, you can get kicked out of your house. You can get robbed, you can get screwed over.
